The first round of this new procedure to become a sports agent is over and the data are clear:
during the deregulation have registered more than 881 sports’ attorneys, today only 8 are eligible,
i.e. less than 1% of the participants.
The difficult and tortuous procedure includes 2 tests before the CONI, a written and an oral test,
and an exam at the FIGC.
Alessio Sundas, president of Uafa, gives full solidarity to all those who have not passed and will no
longer be able to work from July 2019: they will be forced to dismiss their employees and close
VAT numbers.
"Uafa protects the rights of all those who register and together we will face the institutions to ask
what is rightful for us: work!"
The UAFA has already moved in recent days to meet the main labor unions CGIL, CISL and UIL but
not only. Parliamentarians were contacted asking for a meeting in order to find a solution to this
illegitimate retroactivity.
We have appealed to the Antitrust Authority and we will act legally before the European
Commission, Directorate-General for Competition and if this is not enough, we will go to
Strasbourg before the Human Rights Court.
It will be a long and exhausting struggle that we want to win for the right of all of us sports’
attorneys signed up on the Register after the deregulation.
We will claim our right to remain signed up in the Register without time limitations as has been
granted to lawyers and accountants.
